An Amazing Experience!

The Explorer Fly-Ins were held between 1972 and 1983 at
Edwards Air Force Base and the California Air National Guard Base at Van Nuys, CA.

The Aviation Summer Camps were held between 1976 and 1983 at
Edwards Air Force Base, and immediately preceeded the Explorer Fly-Ins.

Both events were the creation of Bill Miller, Carson Lockwood and Tom Hemphill, the
founders, advisors and flight instructors of Air Explorer Squadron 8, Van Nuys, CA.
